Biologische landbouw is een manier van voedselproductie die de natuurlijke levenscycli respecteert. Ze minimaliseert de menselijke impact op het milieu en werkt zo natuurlijk mogelijk, zonder gebruik te maken van genetisch gemodificeerde organismen (GGO’s).

Since the beginning of regulated organic certification, Control Union has served companies all over the world. Our global bases, under the umbrella of the accredited Dutch head office, allows us to make certification efficient and cost effective, whilst upholding the same stringent procedures.

Biologische landbouw

Biologische landbouw maakt deel uit van een uitgebreide toeleveringsketen, die ook voedselverwerking, distributie en retail omvat. Om de biologische markt te bereiken, moet de volledige keten van biologische productie worden geïnspecteerd en gecertificeerd. Wanneer aan alle eisen is voldaan, kan het certificaat worden afgegeven en mag het biologische keurmerk op de gecertificeerde producten worden gebruikt.
